What is Pay per Click (PPC)?

These are the adverts that you see at the top and bottom of your Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) – an example of which is shown at the top of the page.

How does PPC work?

To get started you research the words and phrases that you think people will be using when searching for your business. Next, you create targeted adverts.

Then, when somebody enters your words in to Google’s search bar, Google will display your advert.  If someone clicks on your ad to visit your website you pay Google an agreed fee.
